A SHIRTWAIST TALE

A Shirtwaist Tale, the Klezmer musical, had its initial production in 1999.  With book and lyrics by Judith, and music by Arkadi Serper, the centers on the true story of the 1909 strike by shirtwaist workers in New York City.  A new (2007) production of the musical is now in rehearsal, scheduled to open in October.  For information on the new production, visit  www.ashirtwaisttale.com.
