It Could Always Be Worse.
This 25 minute musical is based
on a Russian Jewish folk tale. In it, some sage advice helps a
family living in cramped quarters learn to appreciate what they have.

Written for a classroom of children, it includes sixteen songs. Music by Felicia Sandler. Songs include "Stuck to a Duck," "You Shouldn't Make Fun of a Name," and "Standing in the Woods." The Musicians of Bremen. Four animals treated badly by their owners decide to move to Bremen for singing careers. This show had a rousing premiere at Carden Music School, Berkeley, California. There are seventeen "named" parts, plus "Villagers" as available. Play Ball! This original story by Judith, with music by Joyce Whitelaw, is about a group of animals who learn to cooperate by playing baseball. Songs include: "Dumpy Darlings," "Secrets," "If We Can't Eat 'Em Let's Join 'Em." Approximately twenty characters, with some flexibility in cast. |
